Cherubs of Grace Preschool Lead Teacher

  • Location: Grace Community Church, Stone Creek OH
  • Our School Year: Begins on the Tuesday after Labor Day and ends the Thursday prior to Memorial Day.  Teacher compensation will begin 2 weeks prior to the start of school and 2 weeks after the last day of school.  School days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 am to 3 pm.
  •  Job Description:  Make lesson plans for a Christian based education and carry them out every week with lesson plan communicated to the Administrator/Teaching Assistant. Students accepted are 3-5 years old and potty trained. The goal is to have them ready for a school setting academically, socially, and emotionally.  Communicate & schedule annual fall conferences with parents (more if needed) to keep them up to date with issues and assist the Administrator with tracking, enforcing, and carrying out any disciplinary actions.  Additional duties as needed.  Working Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays 8:30a – 3:30p; additional as needed to maintain curriculum.

  • Compensation: Lead Teacher $15/hour starting or more based on experience.
    – Bonus available based on performance.
    – Pay checks are issued twice monthly.
  • Requirements: Associate degree, bachelor’s degree in Early childhood /child development or related field or The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. Background checks required (Paid by Cherubs) CPR, First aid, Child Abuse and communicable disease trainings required (Trainings paid by Cherubs)
  • Expenses: Expenses such as fingerprinting and classes needed for licensing will be reimbursed once a receipt is received.  Costs for Physicals will not be reimbursed.
